Conversations Between Archives and their Users
At the University of Wyoming's American Heritage Center, we've found that one of the biggest challenges we face is getting our potential donors to understand the importance of born-digital issues and the challenges we face in documenting contemporary cultural heritage. With that in mind, our contribution to the Day of Digital Archives is not about the mechanics of digital archivy, but a post on our institutional blog designed to speak to our users, to our potential donors. The post is hopefully the first of many future efforts aimed at educating our public. You can read it at: http://americanheritagecenter.wordpress.com/2011/10/05/archives-in-the-digital-age/
